02:05 guy_Xy AHemlocksLie: could it be your kernel is still at .29?
02:05 guy_Xy yeah she gave it up in a little park aswell
02:05 guy_Xy e.g. if i take a backup and put it on a usb stick, is that backup generally going to be set in stone, or will i need to regularly take a new copy of it?

03:47 kusuriyaEB usb stick is 4 gb; how do i zero it all? dd if=/dev/zero of/=/dev/sdb only zeroes 10MB; dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb1 zeroes 480kb; dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb4 zeroes 400 mb; I want to zero it all, make a brand new clean FAT32 partition and leave it like that
03:48 kusuriyaEB The plus is just massive.  It genuinely looks a bit ridiculous to me
03:48 kusuriyaEB N0ZYC: No, you can't shorten these with sed's y/// command. GNU sed has the special sequences \l and \L to initiate lowercase conversion as non-portable extensions. E.g. echo TEST | sed 's/[[:upper:]]\{1,\}/\L&\E/g'  # GNU sed only And for more consult ##sed

04:57 centrileE any suggestions on how to get chromium addons to stop crashing at startup? Clicking the balloons reloads them and then they stay loaded.. but they fail on startup of the browser. I don't think it's a ulimit thing because I've cranked my ulimits. Could it be a pledge/unveil issue?
